Call to Organizers: The 7th annual Sisters In Spirit Vigils

July 26, 2012 (Ottawa, ON) - The Native Women’s Association of Canada (NWAC) would like to call all communities, groups and organizers that wish to participate in the 7th annual Sisters In Spirit Vigils to register early!
As a special incentive this year, NWAC is offering SIS Vigil Banners to all organizers who register their vigil with us before July 31st 2012. These limited edition banners and will not be reprinted, so act fast and register today! Regular registration will remain open until October 4th 2012.

We invite you, your organization and your community to join with us in solidarity on October 4th 2012 by either attending a SIS Vigil or hosting your own. WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!
Each year, concerned citizens and Aboriginal community members gather on October 4th at the Parliament Hill and across the country. We gather to honour our lost sisters and their families. We gather to show we are a united front. We gather to shed light on a crisis that affects every Canadian. We gather to pressure all levels of government to act and ACT NOW!
