Call for Proposals, B.C. Agroforestry Industry Development Initiative
British Columbia's forestry (woodlot), agriculture, agri-food and agri-products sectors can now access funding under the B.C. Agroforestry Industry Development Initiative (AIDI) to facilitate the development and adoption of agroforestry practices in B.C.

FORREX Forum for Research and Extension in Natural Resources (FORREX) is a British Columbia, Canada-based charitable non-share corporation, founded in 1998 to help people develop science and knowledge-based solutions to complex natural resource challenges.
Forest Stewardship Council Canada
FSC is an international certification and labeling system dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world's forests.
This means that forests are evaluated to meet FSC's strict environmental and social standards. Fibre from certified forests is then tracked all the way to the consumer through the FSC Chain of Custody system.
Canadian Boreal Initiative
The Canadian Boreal Initiative (CBI) is a national convener for conservation in Canada’s Boreal Forest. We work with conservation organizations, First Nations, industry and other interested parties – including members of the Boreal Leadership Council – to link science, policy and conservation solutions across Canada's Boreal Forest.

On April 27, 2006, BC First Nations, through the First Nations Leadership Council, established the First Nations Forestry Council (FNFC) to provide support to BC First Nations with respect to forestry-related matters.

The Forest Resources Management Major (Specialization n Community and Aboriginal Forestry) provides prospective forestry professionals with a comprehensive understanding of the discipline of forest management.
