The Mining Industry Human Resources Council hosts a portal for Aboriginal communities to learn more about careers in mining including education and training programs, and resources such as job descriptions and a downloadable guide on occupations in mining.
NWCC School of Exploration & Mining (SEM)
In response to the training needs of communities and industry, Northwest Community College has developed the School of Exploration & Mining (SEM).
UBC Certificate in Mining Studies
Mining professionals require continuing education and professional development, and professionals from other disciplines coming into mining require cross-training (see the results of the EduMine survey on Requirements for Cross-Training in Mining).
SFU Online EduMine Business Courses
Simon Fraser University's Faculty of Business Administration is partnering with EduMine to deliver online courses focused on the business of mining. The courses are being developed by the Learning Strategies Group, a division of SFU Business which provides customized training solutions to businesses and organizations.

Review Board
The EduMine Review Board advises and assists the EduMine Executive with review, approval and selection of courses, course topics, accreditation and educational policy.
Aboriginal Minerals Training Program (AMTP)
The Aboriginal Minerals Training Program (AMTP) is a partnership between the Mining and Mineral Exploration Technology Program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), the Association for Mineral Exploration BC (AMEBC), the Mining Association of BC (MABC) and the British Columbia Ministry of Energy Mines and Petroleum Resources (MEMPR).

Association for Mineral Exploration BC (AMEBC)
Association for Mineral Exploration BC’s tradition of education for the mineral exploration sector dates back to 1918, when it held its first prospecting seminar. Since then, thousands of students have received training in prospecting, mineral exploration, health and safety, and aboriginal engagement through AME BC.

The Mineral Resources Education Program of British Columbia (MREPBC) is a partnership program between teachers and the minerals industry in B.C. It was created to assist teachers in their development of educational materials to support teaching about minerals, mining and geoscience in the classroom.
