Unification
Unification is a website data base, developed by the Stol:lo Nation. It is an application developed to manage social information. It can be web-based or stand-alone and enables users to manage case files in the social program, from intake to producing a cheque.
Active Measures
Active Measures(AM) initiative is designed to support First Nations moving from a passive income assistance environment towards the job market. It can include skills development, counselling, job searching support etc.
Child care for First Nations children living off reserve, Métis children and Inuit children
Previous research has shown that child care has an impact on children's social and developmental outcomes. However, little is known about child care for First Nations, Métis and Inuit children.
BSDW Level 1a, 1b & Level 2
These orientations are provided by the FNSDS Centre to new and novice BSDWs, utilizing the BSDW Self-directed Training Manual.
The Level 1a training offers basic training in the SA Application process, documentation, caseload management and monthly reporting.
