Potential Funding Source Community Gaming Grant
Current intake: Human & Social Services (Aug 1-Nov 30 2010)
The BC Association of Aboriginal Friendship Centres continues to offer Aboriginal non-profits and non profits that support Aboriginal communities support in accessing provincial funding through Community Gaming Grants (formerly Direct Access and Bingo Affiliation).
Our support is FREE OF CHARGE and includes; program & organizational assessment to determine eligibility, support in becoming eligible, application development, budget templates, application pre-screening support, reconsideration support (GPEB appeal process), audit and compliance support. We can also offer one on one support in your community as we travel the province during the months of September, October & November.

For first time applicants it will take approximately 20 hours to prepare your first application. For societies with existing approved programs some time should be spent confirming eligibility under the new guidelines.
Please note: Current Guidelines and Forms - applications will not be accepted on old forms and it is our responsibility to review guidelines on a regular basis.
