Environmental Health Technician (Oyster Bay – Lady Smith, BC)
The Environmental Health Technician job is to provide environmental health technical services under the direction of an Environmental Health Officer or Supervisor, on behalf of Environmental Health Services, First Nations Health Authority (FNHA), and First Nations communities in British Columbia.
Education, Training and Experience:
Completion of one year of post secondary education in Environmental Science, Environmental Health, Biology, Chemistry, or other related field.
One (1) year of experience working with equipment, techniques, or methodologies used in the collection of scientific data and samples, data entry and management of scientific data, and working with or leading community projects and/or teams, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
