The purpose of these policies is to create an environment within which the Shxwhá:y
Village Council can operate and maintain strong internal controls, accountability and
transparency to ensure the integrity of the financial information through strong internal
controls, with the policies and procedures of all programs within the Shxwhá:y Village.
Shxwhá:y Village will be able to utilize the assets entrusted to it in the most efficient and
effective manner for the benefit of all members and future generations.
