Esquimalt Nation Summary Report
The intention of the “Esquimalt Nation Treaty Definition and Traditional
Government Structure” project is to gather and share information that will enable
the Esquimalt Nation to define the Spirit and Intent of the treaty signed by
representatives of the Xwsepsum (Kosapsum) families on April 30, 1850.

Urbanics Consultants Ltd. has been retained by the Chemainus First Nation to
carry out a market-based highest and best use study for the I.R.12 Oyster Bay
property north of Ladysmith, B.C.
Because the development timeline and capacity of the site is not known, a study
