Unification
The First Nations Technology is supporting First Nation communities to OWN their own data, USE data in ways that benefit the people of the community and CONTROL the system that they collect it on. The FNTC is currently partnering with Sto:lo Nation to further develop and distribute UNIFICATION, a system created by First Nations for First Nations.
UNIFICATION
UNIFICATION is an application developed to manage social information. It can be web-based or stand-alone and enables users to manage case files in the social program, from intake to producing a cheque. Reports are generated electronically from data collection in the application, reducing the reporting burden to funders and improving compliance. First Nations using Unification have a better understanding of how well their programs are working.
UNIFICATION is beta testing several other modules including:
- Education Module
- Housing Module
- Employment Module
There are currently a number of communities implementing UNIFICATION across the province. Please contact Norm Leech, Executive Director for more information and/or a demo on UNIFICATION.
