About Eliza Archie Memorial School

The Eliza Archie Memorial School was named to honour Eliza Archie who devoted a lifetime of dedication and energy towards the advancement of her people and her community.

About the Opportunity

Currently, the Canim Lake Band is looking for an enthusiastic Grade 6/7 Teacher to join our K-7 Band Operated School in Canim Lake, BC. 

As our Grade 6/7 Teacher, you will work as part of our energetic teaching team in order to create success for all of our students. Our staff follows the BC curriculum with additional programs such as Readwell, Reading Mastery, Six Minute Solution, and Jump Math supported by the First Nations Schools Association. 

In order to qualify for this role, you will have a Bachelor of Education as well as being in good standing with the BC College of Teachers.

As our ideal candidate for this role, you will have the proven ability to successfully work and interact with children, youth, parents/guardians, staff and visitors in a professional manner. You will also have a criminal record check clearance.  

Your excellent organization, time management, and prioritization skills will ensure your success in this role as will your strong interpersonal skills.
