Richard Feehan, Alberta’s Minister of Indigenous Relations, discussed the government purchase of the Trans Mountain pipeline. First Nations in Alberta have announced they want to be part owners of the pipeline with the federal government. In addition to taking ownership of the pipeline, the province of Alberta is interested in Indigenous ownership in renewable energy projects.
