BC First Nations Leaders Do Not Approve of New Timeline for Trans Mountain Pipeline Expansion Project

BC First Nations leaders and environmental activists have vocalized their disapproval of a new federal review process for the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion project. The federal government has given the National Energy Board 22 weeks to review the project to consider the impact on the marine environment. BC First Nations leaders said the timeline is too short to adequately consider the impact of the project.
