BC First Nations Leaders Support Tanker Ban

The Trudeau government has proposed a bill to ban oil tanker traffic along a stretch of the northern B.C. coast. A group of B.C. coastal First Nations leaders support the ban, and they travelled to Ottawa to show their support. Others fear the ban could mean the end of one of Canada's largest export industries.
