The release of video footage showing sickly farmed Atlantic salmon has led Indigenous leaders to request that fish farming along British Columbia's coastal region be halted. A small group, led by First Nations communities, occupied a Marine Harvest salmon farm on Swanson Island with plans to stay until the government revokes the operation's license.
