British Columbia Premier John Horgan announced today that the federal government buyout of the Kinder Morgan TransMountain pipeline will not change the B.C. government's opposition to the project. Indigenous people continue to oppose the project, with Wilderness Committee climate campaigner Peter McCartney stating that the federal government is spending taxpayer money on a project that will violate Indigenous rights.
