Last month, some of Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. (CNRL) operations were shut down after being linked to tremors in northern BC. After earthquakes rattled Fort St. John and the Site C dam project, the BC Oil and Gas Commission ordered the company to shut down for 30 days. Two years ago, the commission ordered CNRL to change its waste water disposal well procedures after a number of tremors were felt in the Fort St. John area.
