The BC Supreme Court has denied an injunction filed by West Moberly First Nations to halt work on the Site C dam project, stating that an injuntion order would send the project into a state of disorganization. The Union of BC Indian Chiefs (UBCIC) released a statement indicating its frustration with the denial. While the denial does not mean the project will be completed, BC Hydro noted there have been 15 different court actions against Site C and all decisions have sided with the project.
