A Federal Court of Appeal has denied a request by First Nations opponents of the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion to reopen the evidence file and take another look at documents found by the National Observer. The court concluded that the documents failed to establish the claims of the First Nations who believe they were not properly consulted in the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion. Kinder Morgan has signed agreements with a total of 43 First Nations, with 33 of those First Nations in British Columbia.
