Federal Court Dismisses Site C Dam Suit

The Federal Court of Appeals has dismissed a lawsuit brought by B.C.'s Prophet River and West Moberly First Nations, hoping to block construction of the proposed Site C Dam. The two nations argued that cabinet should have determined whether the project infringes on constitutionally protected treaty rights before issuing construction permits.
