The federal government is working to address border-crossing concerns issues between the U.S. and Canada for First Nations people. Border-crossing issues have long been a concern because of the challenges to the mobility, traditional practices, and economic opportunities of First Nations people. The Canadian government is implementing a number of measures to address the border-crossing issues for First Nations.
