First Nations Hold Press Conference After Court Victory

After winning a major victory in court over the approval of the Trans Mountain Pipeline expansion project, BC First Nations held a press conference during which they noted Indigenous peoples will continue to protect the land and water. First Nations chiefs hope the Canadian government will work with Indigenous peoples if the government decides to pursue the project in the future. Working together will help ensure progress on Canada's promises for reconciliation.
