The Abegweit First Nation Mi'kmaq Wellness Centre is incorporating Mi'kmaq traditions into their healing for patients with mental health issues and addictions. Smudging and sweat lodges are part of this process, along with talking circles. While not all patients will want to include Mi'kmaq traditions into their healing process, these options are available for those who do.
