Volunteer Recruitment for Gathering Voices March 18 - 21, 2014

I would like to take a moment and introduce myself, my name is Julie Robertson and I am the Volunteer Coordinator for Gathering Our Voices Aboriginal Youth Conference (GOV).    I am a member of the WeWaiKai Band on Quadra Island on my mother’s side and Scottish on my father’s side. This is my third year working as the Volunteer Coordinator for GOV and I love working with this area of the conference.

We are currently looking for volunteers to come out and help us in Vancouver, BC March 18-21, 2014.  It is going to be a spectacular conference, in large part because of all of you who are hoping to volunteer with us this year.  Shifts are generally four hours in length and we have time slots throughout the day to help fit everyone’s schedules (7:00am start to 10:30pm ending some days).

Please find the attached pdf with more information on our conference, and some of the volunteer opportunities available.

Our Volunteer Registration is now live on our website at:

If you are interested in volunteering with us, please take a few moments and complete our full registration form.
