Haisla First Nation in BC Expects Boon to Economy from LNG Canada Project

LNG Canada is building the largest private-sector investment project in Canadian history at Kitimat, BC. The $40 billion project was approved in October. The Haisla Nation has an impact benefits agreement with LNG Canada, and the new processing facility owned by LNG Canada will be built on the Haisla Traditional territory.
