The National Energy Board's (NEB) reconsideration hearings have ended, and the question of meaningful consultation with Indigenous people over the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion is being addressed. A total of 25 different tribal councils, communities, and individuals spoke about how they believe the pipeline could affect them. Concerns have been raised about the rushed process and the fact that no hearings took place on the BC mainland.
