Indigenous Anti-Pipeline Protesters Released from Jail Early

Seven people who were protesting the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion were sentenced to a week in jail after pleading guilty. They were released early. One of the arrested protesters was anti-poverty activist and Order of Canada recipient Jean Swanson, who believes the Trans Mountain pipelines ties the issues of homelessness, poverty, and climate change together.
