Two Indigenous faculty members at Saint Mary's University are leaving due to lack of progress on the school's promises to support Indigenous students. Saint Mary's has created an Aboriginal Student Centre and hiring an Aboriginal student adviser, only two of the 17 items that were recommended. The professors are frustrated with the university's resistance to change. The university has admitted it has been slow to change, but is committed to implementing all 17 recommendations.
