Indigenous Leaders Want to Stop Oil Tanker Ban Act from Passing

A group of First Nations leaders met with senators on the hill to discuss Bill C-48, which is also known as the Oil Tanker Moratorium Act. These First Nations leades want to stop the bill from passing. Calvin Helin with Eagle Spirit Energy addressed the media and stated that the act will further harm the communities along the BC coast that will be impacted by the ban.
