Indigenous Protester Arrested and Released

Kanahus Manuel, a spokesperson for the activist group Tiny House Warriors, was arrested after a Trans Mountain pipeline protest in British Columbia's North Thompson Provincial Park. The group callings itself the Tiny House Warriors occupied a site in the provincial park north of Kamloops, B.C., in protest against the Trans Mountain pipeline project. The protest began as a cultural gathering and became a Trans Mountain blockage. Manuel has been released by the RCMP.
