Man Walks to Raise Awareness About Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls

Matthew Jefferson, whose aunt Frances Brown went missing over a year ago, has been walking across Canada since June to raise awareness of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls. Jefferson's walk has raised awareness of his aunt's case and provided opportunities to talk about issues like systemic racism and intergenerational trauma. It has also been personally healing for him.
