Map Outlining the Metis Nation Homeland Met with Controversy

A map outlining the Metis Nation homeland has been met with controversy by both the Metis and First Nations. The map was approved by the elected government of the Metis Nation in a special sitting of the Metis Nation General Assembly in Winnipeg. Will Goodon, Metis National Council spokesperson, believes the land could be considered both First Nations and Metis land.
