McGill University Students Vote to Change Name of Sports Teams

McGill University students voted 78.8 percent in favour of changing the name shared by the school's varsity men's sports teams, the Redmen. In addition, more than 100 professors at the school have signed a letter supporting the removal the name. Students are hoping the university will respond by officially adopting the change.
