National Energy Board to Consider Upstream and Downstream GHG Emissions

The Canada National Energy Board will take into account the impact of upstream and downstream emissions from potential increased consumption of oil at hearings into the Energy East Pipeline. This is the first time that such consideration has been given and is based in part on public submissions. The public is being asked for input before a hearing is scheduled.
