Offensive Question to Be Removed from Social Studies Material

A controversial test question for a Grade 12 Social Studies course in Alberta may have been in circulation for almost a decade. The question was about the positive effects of residential schools. David Garbutt, current superintendent for the Alberta Distance Learning Centre, apologized for the material and stated that efforts are being made to correct the information.
