Fresh water is a precious resource in British Columbia. The POLIS Water Sustainability Project at the University of Victoria is focused on ensuring strong protection for sustainable fresh water. The project is focused on generating public interest to activate political will. It contributed research before the BC Water Sustainability Act passed. It continues to produce research and engage stakeholders as regulations are developed.
