Premier Christy Clark announced that local First Nations leadership is supportive of the Woodfibre Liquified Natural Gas terminal project proposed for a location outside Squamish. Despite this claim, Squamish Nation Chief Ian Campbell was not present at the announcement, and says work still needs to be done for the project to meet the 25 conditions laid out by the nation.
