Prime Minister Trudeau Apologizes for Lack of Consultation on Trans Mountain Pipeline

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau apologized to First Nations for his government's failure on consultation for the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion project. Trudeau spoke at the annual Assembly of First Nations (AFN) and stayed to answer unscripted questions afterwards. During the question and answer session, BC First Nations Coldwater Chief Lee Spahan invited the prime minister to visit the community and speak with the leadership there.
