Progress in Pikangikum Means Community Will Soon Have Clean Drinking Water

The Trudeau government has promised clean drinking water to dozens of First Nations after years of neglect for this fundamental human right. The Pikangikum First Nation in northern Ontario is projected to connect to Ontario in November in order to have enough power consistently for clean drinking water. Other issues are also of concern to the community, including mental health and the well being of community members.
