shíshálh Nation and BC Government Take Steps Toward Reconciliation

The shíshálh Nation and British Columbia have come to an agreement that recognizes Indigenous title and rights. The two parties have agreed to work together on environmental concerns and promote economic opportunity and growth for the shíshálh Nation and the Sechelt region. This agreement is the first major reconciliation agreement between the BC government and a First Nation.
