The Trans Mountain pipeline expansion faces significant delays as over 1,000 permits remain unresolved, a basic route has not been determined, and as many as 25 hearings have yet to be conducted. These delays could last as long as two years. Legal experts and representatives from the communities are concerned that the federal government may impose a route.
