Universities in Canada Make Changes Based on TRC's Calls to Action

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) of Canada placed education at the centre of the reconciliation process in its 2015 Calls to Action. Universities have focused on recruiting and retaining more Indigenous students, hiring Indigenous faculty, and creating Indigenous spaces. Many universities are continuing to determine the types of changes that need to be made.
