(West Vancouver, British Columbia - Coast Salish Territory) Aboriginal Tourism Association of British Columbia (AtBC) continues to support building of authentic Aboriginal cultural tourism in British Columbia. This past week AtBC representatives continued work by presenting at the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism Association 2013 Annual Summit as well as regional work on Vancouver Island. AtBC staff is working on the new AtBC marketing campaign for 2014 and the activity and planning continues to increase.

Given the continued success and stability of AtBC to support training, product development, and marketing it is timely to review why Aboriginal tourism continues to grow in British Columbia. Therefore AtBC is pleased to release the document AtBC Background Why Aboriginal Tourism October 2013.

AtBC CEO Henry stated; "AtBC continues to ensure training, product development and marketing to ensure visitors experience Aboriginal tourism businesses throughout British Columbia. AtBC board leadership has been excellent and our team continues to execute effective planning and building the vision of our AtBC Five Year Plan entitled The Next Phase 2012-2017."

AtBC CEO Henry concluded; "There has never been a better time to support Aboriginal cultural tourism. AtBC has secured current and future resources and we are planning for the 2014 tourism season. We thank all of our partners who have supported this incredible success. AtBC is now preparing to launch our next marketing campaign for 2014 and we welcome any and all supporters for the future."
