Community Council Policies and Procedures

Resource Description: 
The Yale First Nation Community Council (CC) is an ad hoc body (assembled as required) of up to 8 YFN Band members. The Community Council is independent of Chief and Council and will operate as an advisory body to management of the various departments within the YFN government.
The CC exists to represent the voice of the YFN community to managing authorities who administer the YFN’s municipal-level affairs; Housing, Lands and Resources, Social Development, Fisheries, Health, as required. The CC advises the YFN managers, who, like other staff, are band employees, on matters of importance to the residents.
