Skwah First Nation Land Use Plan

Resource Description:
Skwah First Nation has undertaken an important step toward effective land use decision making in regards to our lands. This report documents the process and outcome of our community Land Use Plan (LUP). It summarizes relevant work that has led up to this point, and presents new information and maps that have been developed through the LUP process. The purpose of the community Land Use Plan is to:
• Articulate Skwah First Nation’s priorities for their lands;
• Provide a tool that will help guide decision-making regarding future investments on Skwah lands; and
• Identify areas of our reserve lands that should be preserved in a natural state for future generations.
