A new report has criticized the Thunder Bay Police Service, stating that systemic racism contributed to poor investigations of Indigenous deaths.
Kingfisher Lake is a remote community located about 500 kilometres north of Thunder Bay with no road access. The Wataynikaneyap Power Project is providing training that will bring jobs to an area with an unemployment rate seven times the national average.
